Learning to give and receive really good touch is an art form. And something essential that we need in our times where so much of our communication is happening through screens with people that are in a time and space different from ours.

The body to body connection gives us nourishment of an essential and joyus kind. Touching and being touched with quality and awareness brings us to the present and centers us in our senses.
The intention with which we touch, and the focus on staying present makes the world of a difference to both giver and receiver. Too many things are done absentminded and halfheartedly in the fast paced culture we live in. Physical touch is a way to slow down and practice complete commitment to the moment.

I believe that we do not need to be healers or professional bodyworkers in order to improve on our ability to connect body to body.
